Bigg Boss 19: Abhishek Bajaj Clinches the Captaincy Following a Dramatic Task

 

The recent captaincy challenge in the Bigg Boss 19 house became one of the most intense and thrilling moments of the season. This week’s task pushed the contestants to their physical and mental limits as Bigg Boss split the house into two teams, igniting new rivalries and forming unexpected alliances.

The Task – Gathering Gold Bricks

The task for this week’s captaincy was centered around collecting as many gold bricks as possible. The house was divided into two competing teams:

 

Team A – Baseer, Gaurav, Farhana, Awez, Pranit, Nehal, Kunika
Team B – Abhishek, Ashnoor, Tanya, Zeeshan, Nishan, Amal, Shehbaz, and Neelam
To add more tension, Amal was appointed as the supervisor (sanchalak) of the task.

The competition quickly turned physical when accusations surfaced that Abhishek was pushing Awez while collecting the coins. This sparked a heated argument between Abhishek and Amal. When Amal instructed both Abhishek and Awez to stop the fight, Abhishek defiantly responded, “Main apni marzi se rukhunga,” leading to a major clash. Despite the drama, the task went on until the end.

Ultimately, Team B comprising Zeeshan, Tanya, Neelam, Abhishek, Amal, and Ashnoorclaimed victory, earning the title of captaincy contenders for the week.

Voting Twist Shakes Things Up

Just when the housemates thought the captaincy was settled, Bigg Boss threw in a curveball  the housemates had to vote out contenders, narrowing down the list to the final few.

  • Gaurav voted out Neelam

  • Nehal blocked Zeeshan

  • Farhana blocked Tanya

  • Pranit blocked Mridul

  • Awez blocked Ashnoor

  • Baseer voted out Shehbaz

This left Amal and Abhishek as the final contenders. In a dramatic twist, Nehal chose to evict Amal, crowning Abhishek as the new captain.

After four attempts, Abhishek finally clinched the captaincy, marking a pivotal moment in his journey. Known for being a lone player with few allies, this is a make-or-break opportunity for him. With most of the house against him, all eyes are on how he will manage the responsibilities of captain, handle housework, and navigate the ongoing politics.
